Cytofast SA nephelometer is a semi-automatic instrument for the preparation of slides using the Cytofast
method. It performs the nephelometric reading of the cellular density of samples, in order to determinate the quantity to be added onto the slide for each of them. Automatically, it aspirates the proper quantity of sample from the vial, and, at the same time, it adds the Stickeur solution, balances samples if needed, mixes samples. After centrifugation, the operator has to discharge the supernatant from the slides, disassemble slides for their supports, let slides to drain on air and proceed with the standard staining process. |
