The HPV Direct-Flow Chip kit is a diagnostic kit for in vitro detection of HPV. The kit is intended
for simultaneous screening and genotyping of several HPV types by PCR, followed by reverse dot blot automatic
hybridization, based on DNA-Flow Technology (e-BRID System®).
DNA from cervical samples is firstly amplified by Direct PCR. PCR products are then placed in the e-BRID platform, automatically enabling simultaneous screening and genotyping of 36 HPV types (all the 18 HR types and the 18 most common LR types). No DNA extraction is needed. Reduced time for results (less than 2 hours full procedure for 15 samples). Reduced cost/test compared to standard PCR procedures. High clinical sensitivity and specificity. |
