TO ALL OUR DISTRIBUTORS: Hospitex Diagnostics is glad to inform you about the new software 1.153 release for Hema Screen 18. In order to upgrade the instrument it is necessary to visit the web site http://www.hospitex.it/software.php log on and download the software. Shouldn't you have already username and password to be able to LOGIN, please require registration of your company. The software release 1.153 foresees a new procedure for cleaning the instrument in case of clogging and partial or total obstructions of reading capillaries. As all users know, one of the most common problem in haematology is related to capillaries clogging, especially when instruments remain without working for a period, in which the liquid in the reading chambers could dry and leave crystallized salt residues. In this direction, this procedure is highly specific for capillaries that have to be strongly cleaned, in order to remove obstructions due to residual proteins, lipids, fibrin, clots, salt crystals etc… This procedure, called HARD WASHING, is stronger and more specific than the other procedures CAPILLARY CLEANING and WASHING, already provided by all the older software releases; at the same time, HARD WASHING is softer if compared with the SPECIAL CLEANING procedure (the use of sodium hypochlorite solution has to be considered not routinely but occasional because it is aggressive for instrument components). HARD WASHING procedure foresees the use of a specific solution, HARD WASHING SOLUTION, now available in Hospitex Diagnostics catalogue (Code: 70010040, Packaging: 2 x 50 ml). |
